We were on the ground floor, there was noise in the hallway and from the neighbours. Pretty badly insulated. There were a lot of people in the pool, we couldn't enjoy it.

A normal hotel for reasonable money. There's a pool. The room has an ironing board with an iron (which suddenly came in handy).
It must be remembered that the vast majority of American hotels have American (non-returnable) showers and, much more importantly, American sockets (and adapters are often not available - so it is highly desirable to have them with you in advance). The hotel "Baymont by Wyndham Dallas/Love Field" (the name when booking) does not exist in fact. There is nothing in the place where the hotel with this name is marked, although 30 meters away is the "Baymont Inn & Suites Dallas Love Field", marked next to it as a separate hotel (which, as it turns out, is the right hotel). Although it's not difficult to put together a 2+2, it's still weird. The hotel is located in the northwest of the city (far from the center, to put it mildly) - next to a lot of major road junctions. The nearest railway/tram station (in Dallas, the main public transport is half a tram or half a train: it looks like a train, but walks like a tram; although it's quite simple and convenient, and it's not difficult to get to the centre) is not very close (20-25 minutes on foot). By the way, the nearest station is "Bachman Station" and not "University of Dallas", as it may seem on the map - you can't reach the hotel from it (unless you walk on highways without pavements). And in principle this part of the city is not too adapted to walk here (at least one major road, in front of the hotel, almost have to run).
